Fashion product photography project: Epic Fits t-shirts
Epic Fits is an American t-shirt brand that sells primarily through its website and social media. When buying clothes online, buyers can't physically touch the fabric or try on the fit, so the photos have to do that for them. Right Media photographed Epic Fits' fashion products for two days in a studio, with one goal: to help buyers choose quickly and correctly.

Many shirt styles, many colors, need to be photographed uniformly.
Epic Fits offers many shirt styles: crew neck short-sleeved, curved hem, chest pocket, long-sleeved, Active Tech, and polo, each with multiple colors. If each photo were a different style, the product page would be cluttered and buyers would find it difficult to compare. Therefore, the 75 packshots share the same white background, lighting, and shirt pose; placed side-by-side, viewers only notice differences in color and style.

Same background, same lighting for all shirt designs.
What is 3D Ghost photography for fashion products?
3D Ghost (also known as ghost mannequin) is a technique where a garment is photographed on a mannequin, and then the mannequin is removed in post-production, making the garment appear as if someone is wearing it without the person being visible. When photographing fashion products for online sales, this type of photo clearly shows the garment's shape, shoulder width, and neckline, something that flat-laid photos cannot achieve.
In addition to the ghost photos, the photo set includes close-ups of the fabric and collar, showing the Epic Fits label, so buyers can see the fabric surface before placing an order.

3D ghost image: the shirt holds its shape as if someone is wearing it.
75 photo collage combo
Epic Fits sells shirts in multi-piece combos, so half of the photos are collages of these combos: three shirts in black, white, and navy stacked; six shirts of the same color lined up; and a few hanging on hangers. Looking at the photos, buyers know exactly how many shirts they'll receive and in which colors, without needing to read the description.

Close-up photos of the fabric help buyers visualize the surface of the shirt.
Result
After two days at Right Media Studio, Epic Fits received 150 photos for their website and social media: 75 packshots for each shirt design and 75 combo photos for bundled packages. The entire set used a single background and lighting style, resulting in a clean and easy-to-navigate product page.
