Industrial product photography project: SPON forklift
SPON manufactures hand pallet trucks, semi-electric pallet trucks, and other lifting equipment. The company needed a new set of photos for its catalog. Right Media undertook this industrial product photography project and completed it in one day, right at the SPON factory.

Why take photos right at the factory?
The forklifts were bulky, with some models having forks nearly two meters long. Transporting an entire row of car models to the studio was both laborious and time-consuming. Therefore, Right Media set up the backdrop and lighting right at the factory, bringing each car model into the shooting area one by one, completing the task in a single day.

What do you need for industrial product photography for a catalog?
The catalog photos should allow buyers to compare. All models are photographed against the same white background, from the same angle, and under the same lighting. When placed side-by-side, viewers only see differences in the product itself: wheelbase length, wheel type, and whether it's a scooter or a semi-electric model.
Each car model is photographed from the same angle for easy comparison.
- Hand pallet truck – Many sizes of claws, many types of cakes, every model is photographed from every angle.
- Semi-electric forklift – The red car, photographed from an angle to clearly show the electrical components.
- Other devices – Mobile scaffolding.
- Overall image – The car models lined up in front of the SPON logo, used for the cover and opening page of the catalog.

Result
