Elaiya is a canned beverage brand produced in Vietnam and sold in the European market. Impotas Group chose Right Media to produce a TV commercial for this beverage, and this is the second version, made according to the client's new requirements: a bright background and product decoration with real fruit. This article analyzes how the 38-second commercial introduces five flavors.

Duration 38 seconds

Customer requirements

After the first version, customers wanted version 2 to have a brighter background and use real fruit to decorate the product. This request was reasonable for the European market: buyers needed to immediately recognize the flavor in the can, and real fruit was the quickest way to say so.

The TV commercial has no narration. All information must be conveyed through images, colors, and text on the screen.

Right Media's solution for beverage TV commercials.

Right Media assigned each flavor a unique background color and neon lettering, then placed the product cans among the corresponding fresh fruit.

1. Five flavors, five base colors

Guava appears on a pink background, Mango on an orange-yellow background, Passion fruit on a red background, Raspberry on a light pink background, and Water Coconut on a turquoise background. The flavor names are written in neon letters on the back of the can, large enough to be read on a phone.

2. A cool sensation

Scenes of cans being opened, emitting cold steam, cans nestled among ice cubes, mint leaves, and sliced fruit, and drinks being poured into glasses – familiar images from beverage commercials, filmed in close-ups to emphasize the coolness.

3. The entire product line in one frame.

The TV commercial opens and closes with five cans lined up side-by-side against a green background, surrounded by fruit, to remind viewers that Elaiya is a multi-flavored product line, not a single can.

What should be considered when creating a TV commercial for a beverage product for the export market?

TV commercials for beverages aimed at the export market should rely more on visuals than words, as a single video can be broadcast in multiple countries with different languages. The Elaiya version applies this principle through four key points:

  • No comments – only music and English text on the screen.
  • Real fruit – Flavor recognition without translation.
  • Color coding by flavor – Each flavor has a different color, matching the packaging.
  • Short duration – 38 seconds, suitable for social media advertising and point-of-sale displays.

Results achieved

Impotas Group has a second version of the Elaiya beverage TV commercial with a bright background and real fruit, meeting all requirements, showcasing all five flavors in 38 seconds, and usable for the European market without language adjustments.
