Korean cosmetics video review project: Kyowon The Orm

Kyowon commissioned Right Media to create a video review of The Orm Korean cosmetics line. The video shows viewers what the products are used for and how to use them. Kyowon also uses this video to train her sales team and distributors.

One leader, one product, step by step.

The video focuses on just one product: the Esroom Brightening Clay Mask. The presenter sits in a brightly lit living room, speaking directly to the viewers as if in a presentation. The presenter then introduces the box, tube, texture, and how to use it.

The process is shown in close-up: taking the mask out, applying it evenly to the face, waiting for it to dry, and then rinsing it off. A timer is displayed on the screen to let viewers know how long they have to wait.

The host speaks to the viewers as if it were a conversation.

How can a video review of Korean cosmetics be used for sales training?

At Kyowon, Korean cosmetic review videos do two things at once. Customers view them as easy-to-follow tutorials. Sales teams and distributors use them as standard documentation: everyone introduces the products in the same way, regardless of who the trainer is.

That's why the video is over four minutes long. Instead of cutting quickly like in commercials, each step is kept long enough for viewers to follow along.
