Massage chair review video project: KLC content channel
Massage chair review video project: KLC x Right Media content channel
KLC is a genuine massage chair brand. Instead of advertising each individual model, KLC built a content channel dedicated to answering customer questions. Right Media produces a series of massage chair review videos for this channel: long videos, with a narrator speaking from beginning to end and explaining with real products.
The focus of this massage chair review video series: answering questions instead of promoting products.
Massage chairs range in price from tens to hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong, so buyers do thorough research before making a decision. They often face the same dilemma: every brand claims its roller technology is the best, and they don't know who to trust.
This video series gets straight to the point. The topic is taken from a genuine question a viewer left in the previous video: how to distinguish between 2D, 3D, 4D, and 5D massage rollers. At the beginning of the video, Tai, the host of the Top Massage Chairs channel, thanks the viewer for asking the question and gives them a KLC massage chair voucher worth 5 million VND.
This approach to topic selection has two benefits: viewers see their questions being answered seriously, and the channel gets a steady stream of topics from the comments section.
Explanation using real artifacts.
It is available on the presenter's table. 2D roller set and detachable 4D roller setHe picked up each set to compare them right in front of the camera.
Viewers can clearly see that the 2D model is made entirely of plastic, including the frame. The 4D model is significantly heavier, with the presenter estimated to weigh 15-20 kg, a metal frame, and rollers made of special plastic coated with silicone. The difference is immediately apparent in the image, requiring no further explanation.
The presenter also linked each type to a price range: 2D rollers are commonly found in chairs costing 10-20 million VND, 4D in high-end chairs starting from 60 million VND, and 5D in chairs costing 100-300 million VND, with the newer generation incorporating AI chips. Conventional advertising videos struggle to achieve this, as they rarely show the product being disassembled for customers to see the inside.
Three technical requirements for this type of content.
First, the video needs to be long but still keep viewers engaged. Technical explanations can be boring, so the video alternates between the presenter speaking, close-ups of the exhibits, and demonstrations on real chairs to maintain a varied pace.
Secondly, close-ups of small details. The difference between plastic ball tips and silicone-coated ball tips is only visible at very close range. In the video, viewers can clearly see the surface texture of each type of ball tip.
Third, the language must be clean. With content that relies more on sound than visuals, audio quality determines whether viewers will watch the entire video.
Why did KLC choose this as its content channel?
For products costing hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong, customers rarely buy after seeing an advertisement once. They spend weeks researching, comparing, and reading reviews.
The content channel helped KLC stay present throughout that period. Once buyers had watched five or seven massage chair review videos and felt they had received a good explanation, the brand behind the channel easily became their first choice without needing any sales pitch.
Right Media is implementing this series of content within the framework. product video production service and short videos for social mediaBecause the goal is to build the channel, the videos are made in series and released regularly, not just one video and then stopped.
