Listen to the food before you taste it.

In just 33 seconds, the video doesn't use lengthy narration. Viewers hear the sound of a knife chopping onions, the sizzling of meat in the pan, and the pouring of sauce into the pot. These sounds were recorded during cooking, not from a sound library, so they sound authentic and close to the viewer.

What should a product video for ready-to-eat food items in the F&B industry showcase?

For ready-to-eat meals, F&B product videos need to show viewers three things: what's in the package, how quick it is to cook, and how delicious the finished product is. The "Turn On" video follows that order:

• kit – Packages of meat, vegetables, and spices are displayed on a white background.
• Cook neatly – Turn on the stove, chop the vegetables, add the meat and sauce to the pan, and with a few simple steps, you're done.
• Delicious food – Sweet and sour pork ribs, steamed fish, and a piping hot soup served with a bowl of rice.

"Turn on the Stove" features a 33-second F&B product video with the message "Turn on the stove, cook easily - eat well." The ASMR sound effects make viewers crave the food beforehand, so the call to action at the end of the video comes at just the right moment.
