Industrial park testimonial video project: SLP and four manufacturing clients
Industrial park testimonial videos are the most challenging type of corporate video content to create, as their value lies in the fact that clients speak their minds, not reading a script. In this project, Right Media filmed four Sea Logistics Partner (SLP) clients right in their operating factories, allowing each business to tell their own story about choosing SLP.
| Client | Sea Logistics Partner (SLP) |
|---|---|
| Branch | Industrial and logistics real estate |
| Category | Testimonial video of the industrial park |

Project overview: four clients, two needs groups
SLP is a developer of modern industrial parks and warehousing facilities. The challenge of this industrial park testimonial video project was that the four clients in the film belonged to two groups with very different needs, making a single narrative impossible.
- Ennoconn, Dayin, and Unionmould — Large-scale manufacturing businesses operating factories in Vietnam have high demands regarding supply chains, warehousing, and international logistics connections.
- Fast Delivery — representing a group of fast-growing domestic businesses that need a flexible logistics ecosystem to serve a broad consumer market.
The first group is interested in infrastructure and production scalability. The second group is interested in speed and flexibility. The design must present both groups while maintaining a common message about SLP's role as a strategic partner.
The chosen storytelling approach for the industrial park testimonial video.
The overarching principle is to avoid scripting. The team prepares a set of questions, sends them in advance so respondents can prepare their answers, then lets them speak freely, only retaining the best parts for editing.
Filmed at the client's workplace.
All images were recorded live at SLP Park Nam Son – Hap Linh (Bac Ninh) and SLP Park Xuyen Asia (Tay Ninh)Filming on location instead of setting up a backdrop in a studio offers two benefits: the speaker feels more comfortable because they are in a familiar environment, and the footage provides ready-made evidence of the warehousing infrastructure, production lines, and import/export operations.
Deliberately long duration
The original version is over 11 minutes long, significantly longer than a typical corporate video. This is because each client needs enough time to fully describe a specific situation, rather than just a generic compliment. This longer version can then be edited into shorter versions for each client, to be used specifically for different target groups.
The process of deploying a testimonial video in an industrial park.
Unlike infrastructure showcase videos, which are entirely initiated by the developer, a testimonial video for an industrial park depends on the schedule and goodwill of a third party. Therefore, most of the effort lies in the preparation phase, not the filming date.
- Select the customers who will participate. Prioritize businesses that have been operating long enough to have real experience and are willing to speak specifically. A new client signing a contract has nothing to say except their expectations.
- Standardize the scope of information. Both parties agree beforehand on what will be discussed and what will be kept confidential, typically production volume, rental price, and the name of the end customer.
- Submit the questionnaire. Respondents receive the information a few days in advance to prepare their ideas, not to memorize their answers.
- Site survey. Determine camera angles within the warehouse or workshop, power sources, noise levels, and areas that should not be filmed.
- Record it. Each client spends approximately half a day with the client, including interviews and filming demonstrations of their work.
- Create and review. The final version is sent to both the investor and the customers who appear in the film for review before release.
The final step is often skipped and is a common reason why films need rework: clients who appear in the film have the right to request that scenes they deem inappropriate be cut, so they must be included in the review process from the beginning.
The most difficult problem: filming in a moving warehouse.
Background noise. Forklifts, conveyor belts, and ventilation systems create a constant buzzing sound. The solution is to use a lavalier microphone placed close to the speaker, combined with choosing an angle with sound-blocking objects behind them instead of standing in the middle of an open space.
Difference in lighting. Warehouses often have skylights, creating a very bright area right next to the dark areas. The crew compensates for the lighting for the speaker and orients the camera so that the skylight is behind the camera, not within the frame.
Safety and operational flow. The warehouse had to remain operational during filming, so the placement of the equipment and power lines had to be out of the forklift's path. The entire crew wore reflective vests and followed safety instructions.
How will the company exploit the film after receiving the rights?
An industrial testimonial video is rarely used in just one location. From the original, the cuts are typically used in four directions:
- Project website — The full version is placed in the customer section, serving as proof for the infrastructure introduction.
- Documents submitted to investors — A 90-second clip, industry-specific, will be sent via email or shown during the meeting.
- Digital advertising — A 30-second vertical video that captures the customer's strongest closing statement.
- Events and exhibitions — an instrumental version, playing in loop at the booth with subtitles.
This is why an industrial testimonial video should be shot in high resolution and retain the raw footage: new cuts will continuously emerge over the following years without the need for reshoots.
Why is this type of content so difficult to replace?
In the industrial real estate sector, the decision to lease land or factory space is a multi-year, high-value undertaking. Decision-makers are less inclined to trust the developer's self-promotion, but they trust businesses that have already leased and are operating there. This is why industrial park testimonial videos have become an indispensable content pillar, alongside conventional infrastructure showcase videos.
Another advantage is the longevity of the content. Infrastructure showcase videos will become outdated as the industrial park expands, while customer testimonials about operational experiences retain their value for many years.

Frequently Asked Questions
The full version can be 8–12 minutes long if the film has many clients, as each person needs enough time to describe a situation completely. From the longer version, additional 60–90-second clips should be added for each client to use in advertising and for different target groups.
You shouldn't give clients a script to read from, because inexperienced voice actors will immediately reveal their true feelings through their tone of voice and facial expressions. The correct approach is to send them a set of questions beforehand so they can prepare their answers, film them at their workplace, and then cut out the most natural and specific responses.
Costs are calculated based on the number of filming sessions and locations to be traveled, not on the number of minutes of footage. Grouping multiple clients in the same area into one shoot is more cost-effective than filming them individually, as the crew and equipment are only mobilized once for the entire group.
