Smart bathroom fixture video review project: Bumia x Right Media
Bumia sells smart bidet seats that can be fitted to existing toilets. Right Media made a video reviewing the sanitary ware for two models, BM-01V and BM-02. The most interesting part of the video is the installation process, filmed from beginning to end, allowing viewers to see for themselves how easy or difficult it is to install.
The challenge of making a video review of sanitary ware.
Smart toilet seats are difficult to create content about for three reasons.
First, the topic is sensitive. Since the product is related to personal hygiene, the narration must clearly state its function while remaining polite. The video refers to the two modes as named by the manufacturer: anal cleansing and feminine hygiene, being direct but not offensive.
Secondly, the buyer has never used it. Many Vietnamese families are unfamiliar with smart toilet seats. Their first question is often, "Is it complicated to install? Can we install one in our house?"
Third, the two samples are easily confused with each other. BM-01V and BM-02 have the same two washing modes and use the same rotary knob. The difference lies in the installation method: BM-02 is an add-on accessory, while BM-01V replaces the toilet seat completely, making it larger.
Solution: Film the entire installation process.
Instead of saying "easy installation," the video shows a step-by-step installation process, from unboxing to the product working perfectly.
This method directly answers the biggest question for buyers. By watching each step on the screen, viewers can figure out if the assembly is within their capabilities, without needing any verbal assurances.
The accessories in the box were also displayed clearly in front of the camera: the main unit, the nozzle, the T-connector, the water hose, the hinges, and the bolts. Viewers knew exactly what they would receive.

Each model has its own segment in the video, and differences are indicated visually instead of in a specifications table.
- BM-02 – Additional accessories, weight 850g, two chrome-plated nozzles with two modes. The knob has two symbols corresponding to the two modes; simply turn to the desired mode. When selecting the anal cleansing mode, the device automatically cleans the nozzles.
- BM-01V – The toilet seat cover is replaced with a hidden spray nozzle, the lid closes softly without making noise, and the nozzle retracts automatically after use.
The soft-closing lid has its own close-up shot. On the product page, this detail is difficult to describe in words, but in the video, viewers can immediately see the lid lowering slowly, without any impact.

Detail no electricity required This is emphasized most, as buyers are often hesitant to install electrical appliances in damp bathrooms. At the end of the video, the presenter suggests buying it as a gift for parents, wife, or children, and concludes with the slogan "Bumia – Elevating the Quality of Life".
