Aura Beauty Clinic chose Right Media to produce a video for the launch event of Thermage FLX technology – a signing ceremony and transfer of the "lifting and wrinkle-removing dual technology" to help customers preserve their youthful appearance. The video both documented the event and explained the technology to customers. This article analyzes how Right Media combined these two tasks in just over two minutes.

Customer requirements

A technology transfer ceremony has significant media value, but a video that only records the signing ceremony won't help customers understand why they should choose that technology. Aura needed a video that accomplished two things: affirming its credibility through an event attended by international experts, and explaining how Thermage FLX works.

According to reviews, this is a skin tightening and wrinkle removal technology exclusively transferred through collaboration with experts from the US and South Korea, certified effective and safe by the US FDA, and approved for use by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health.

Right Media's solution for launch event video

Right Media intertwines three layers of imagery: event moments, expert opinions, and 3D graphics simulating the effects on the skin.

1. Moment of the event

The video opens with the Thermage FLX logo, then shows the guests arriving, the signing ceremony under the flags of Vietnam, South Korea, and the United States, the awarding of certificates, and commemorative photos taken in front of the backdrop commemorating the "Ceremony for the Transfer of the World's Leading Skin Lifting and Wrinkle Removal Technology Duo."

2. Experts speak out.

Mr. Henry, Thermage representative in Vietnam, shared about the noticeable results after just one treatment. Aura Beauty Clinic Director Lee Joong Hee and Mr. Tran My, Thermage clinical expert representative in Vietnam, appeared in front of the event backdrop to congratulate and affirm the value of the technology.

3. 3D graphics explain the technology.

The more difficult aspects to describe in words are illustrated in 3D: the layers of skin, the vibration mode reduces discomfort, and the energy impact causes loose collagen fibers to contract, resulting in a firmer and more toned treated area. The commentary explains that collagen continues to proliferate and restructure, and the improvement process lasts from 3 to 6 months after a single treatment.

What should a product launch video include besides the formalities?

An effective product launch video should transform the event into a reason for customers to trust the product. Aura videos achieve this through four elements:
