Customer requirements

A Sony Lunar New Year promotional campaign spans multiple product categories, each with its own special offers. The TV commercial needs to give viewers a complete picture – which products are on sale, by how much, what gifts are included, and where to buy them – all in less than a minute.

At the same time, the TV commercial must convey the atmosphere of Tet: lively, joyful, and true to the program's title, "Tet Flourishing, Blessings Abundant at Home".

Right Media's solution for 3D animation TVCs.

With so many products and so many figures, live filming would require numerous settings and be difficult to synchronize. Right Media chose to create the entire video in 3D: the products appear, rotate, and zoom in on a shared stage, with a cityscape by the river as the backdrop, accompanied by fireworks and colorful ribbons.

1. Open with a New Year's greeting card.

The TV commercial opens with a "SONY Happy New Year" greeting card bursting forth with fireworks, leading into the program title "Together with Sony, a Flourishing Tet, Abundant Blessings for Your Home" and the message of the best prices of the year.

The program is titled "Together with Sony, Tet Flourishes, Abundant Blessings for Your Home" and features 3D products.

2. Each product group, a moment in time.

The reviews categorize the products into three "uplifting" themes: bonding with family through TVs and soundbars; immersing yourself in music with Bluetooth headphones and speakers; and creating unique Tet (Lunar New Year) experiences with cameras, lenses, and phones. Each theme is accompanied by a discount displayed on the screen.
