MOKA chose Right Media to produce a storytelling, vertical-frame advertising video for their baby diapers for social media. Instead of showcasing specifications, the video tells a humorous story of a first-time single dad, with MOKA diapers as his "assistant." The video is over two minutes long, so the most challenging part was keeping viewers engaged until the end.

Customer requirements

The majority of viewers of baby diaper videos on social media are young parents who quickly scroll through ads. The video needs a story that's relatable enough for them to stop and focus on the product in everyday parenting situations.

The video is framed vertically so it can be viewed fully on a phone without having to rotate the device.

Right Media's solution for baby diaper advertising videos.

Right Media wrote a three-act script centered around the father character, using exaggerated expressions and social media-style typography.

1. Introduction: The father is "entrusted" with the child.

The father was lying in bed playing on his phone when the mother appeared, leaving the baby for him to look after before going outside, pointing to a box of MOKA diapers before leaving. The father's panicked face and the humorous special effects immediately create a comic effect from the very first seconds.

2. Body: A day taking care of a child

The baby scatters toys all over the bed and plays in the bathtub; the father juggles talking on the phone. Close-up shots of the caregiving scenes are taken: applying cream, changing diapers, and playing with the baby. MOKA diapers are featured in every specific task, not just sitting idly on the shelf.

"The

The father's panicked expression when he was given childcare responsibilities.

3. Conclusion: The room is tidy.

The father cleans up the scattered diapers on the floor and tidies the room just in time for the mother to come home. The video ends with the baby happily wearing a MOKA diaper and a close-up of the product packaging.

Why should baby diaper commercials tell a story?

When watching a storytelling-style baby diaper commercial, parents recognize themselves in the situation before even noticing the product. MOKA videos achieve this through four elements:
