A single factory shoot can produce three versions of a video: a full version for strategic partners and internal communications, a recruitment version for candidates, and a company introduction for customers, importers, trade fairs, and websites. Right Media did just that for Far Eastern Polytex, a factory with over 2,000 employees in Binh Duong, and produced two to three versions for Tanaka Precision, Top Royal Flash, and CJ Foods. This article explains why three versions are necessary, what to keep and what to remove from each version, and what scenes a garment factory recruitment video should include to gain candidate trust.

Why should a film from a film studio be cut into three versions?

Because the three groups of viewers asked three different questions, and the most expensive part of the project was the filming, not the editing. Once the crew was at the factory with all the equipment, filming additional scenes of the dormitory, the kitchen, and interviewing staff only took a few extra hours. Editing a copy from existing footage was much cheaper than organizing a new filming session later.
